February doesn’t fall short of award ceremonies with the Grammy’s and the IMAGE awards done, we get to look forward to some Oscar night excitement.  For a lot in the industry there is non-stop parties; pre-parties, after parties, and the hotel lobby (sorry for that JayZ reference….actually, not sorry).  Typically, Halfstack doesn’t get a lot of opportunities to get to our coasts to attend any of these events, but our recent addition to the Halfstack team and veteran to Art and Sol, Nicki Niemet of iMovement Photography (you may even remember her feature in Spring 2016’s issue) is our west coast correspondent that will be bringing us some juicy morsels of celeb hangs and events.

Ok! Magazine hosted a pre-Grammy party that included socialites, reality stars, celebs, and a killer performance from JoJo.  Vendors were also in attendance from SPLAT #SplatSquad offering a photo booth experience with some gorgeous and vibrant wigs.  Slim Fast and Core offering free water and low-calories snacks and BEAUTY 21 who were giving away complimentary coverage and contour makeup samples.

The event was held at the legendary Avalon in Hollywood and supplied plenty of gossip courtesy of The Garage Public Relations.  Jojo’s opening performance with her hit throwback ‘Leave’ and wowing the crowd with incredible tracks from Mad Love.  The unlikeliest of friends, Brandi Glanville (with new bf of 5 months, DJ Friese) and Scheana Marie posing for photos (arm in arm) and actually smiling. The hatchet is officially buried. The pair were hanging out at a table together with Lala Kent and RHOBH alum Carlton Gebbia. They stayed until the very last song of the night!  Contestants from The Bachelor 2017 looking “rosier” than ever after last week’s “bloodbath” that knocked the majority of them form the show.  Edyta Sliwinska from DWTS wearing a pink dress to subtly announce the sex of her baby #2.  Dance Mom star Abby Lee Miller opening up on the possibility of going to jail, but enjoying the night and looking fantastic.  Ronnie Magro from Jersey Shore and most recently Famously Single 2 moving on from his split with Malika Haaq, chatting up girls with best friend from the show, David Mcintosh.  Courtney Stodden happy in a new relationship but dishing on her not so recent breakup with Ex Doug Hutchison.  Queen LVP (Lisa Vanderpump) revealing that the animal activist will open an animal shelter in LA.
